University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine
The Omega Tau Sigma Eta chapter is a professional veterinary fraternity devoted to serving the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine and Athens community through philanthropy, service, and fellowship.
With a house located just 150 yards from the front door of the veterinary school, OTS has become an ideal place to relax and let loose from the stresses associated with full-time professional academia. Foosball, ping pong, billiards, and corn hole make the OTS basement the place to be on a Friday evening, after an anatomy test, or during a long Wednesday lunch break. The house is open to all members 24 hours a day, and also offers year-round lodging for five members and an extern.
Every calendar year, we vote on a philanthropy to support through fundraising efforts. This year AAHS won in hopes of helping the pets in our own community.
About AAHS: Their mission is to rescue and protect companion animals by providing for their wellbeing, uniting them with loving homes, and advocating for a compassionate society.
Their vision is a society where all dogs and cats have a loving home and the bond between pets and people is celebrated.
